@TheMelodyPheles Sims 4 should not corrupt a hard drive, and if it could do that on its own, we'd see a lot more reports. What's more likely is that the hard drive was already dying, and installing the game hastened its demise.
If you install Sims 4 on this hard drive and it dies too, then the hard drive is defective, and it's actually a good thing to find out now, while it's still under warranty. But like I said, that absolutely shouldn't happen.
