sims 4 crashes during gameplay

 Sims 4 crashes during gameplay.  I have tried Resetting the game to factory settings without reinstalling.  Moved the options. ini file and everything worked ok until I moved the saved files.  Then ...

Could you post your complete specs.

If you leave out the saves and start a new one, does it crash as well ?

Thanks for responding...No, if I leave out the saves its ok.  I am using another backup right now from a month ago.  I am also using the one that doesn't work and saving/sharing all my homes and households so I can retrieve them using the game that does work.  The game that doesn't work still allows me to build save...ect.  It only crashes when I go into a household to play.  If you have any suggestions it would be most appreciated  If not, it is ok. I will only lose a moth of progress..

I had a previous problem of Origin repeatedly doing updates and i think this was the same time I had the problem with my game crashing.  The Origin problem has been fixed but the game still crashes.

 I think I learned my lesson and will backup every Friday and not overwrite the previous backup.

    Hi there, 

    does it show any error message when the game crashes? Like "Program stopped working" or something similar?

      Yes   a box comes up and says "Program stopped working"   or something like that and gives the option to close.

        Do you just have the graphics chip ? It doesn't seem to have any dedicated memory at all so I'm a bit surprised it's just the one save that crashes.

        If you want you can upload the save to a file sharing site and I'll try it out if I can reproduce the crashing on my machine.
