I'm experiencing the same problem, I noticed someone mentioned a possibility of the interaction "Get to Know" causing the crashes, and after testing this out multiple times I can confirm it is what is causing my game to crash. Is this specific thing happening to anyone else? and if so does anyone know why it's happening?
This crash happens to me RIGHT after I save the game, I'm not sure what the deal is. With mods. Without mods. Tried everything. Been ongoing for a few hours now. And I haven't used the Get To Know interaction once
I deleted all my mods and it still crashes. Also since the update, my freelance programmers cannot complete and assignment. They get to the end of the last step and they are not recognized for completing the task no matter how many times they try.
Sometimes I can get a half hour of play before a crash to desktop (Win10) but this evening it's been more like a few minutes between CTD's...

Sorry guys but it's almost impossible to help you all with crashing if you all post in the same thread and don't give us helpers any information to go on. Really would love to get you all back into your games :D
My suggestions for the moment (as there's lots of crashing threads)

If none of these help you, please create your own thread, providing the following information
- Your Computer's DxDiag. You can attach the file directly to your post.
- Any critical events you find.
- Attach the content of this file documents\electronicarts\thesims4\lastcrash.txt(or variations of it). You need to create a rar file or c/p the content to your post. You can't upload it directly.
- Attach the following file: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\Config.log (you can upload directly)
- Are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
- At what point does your game crash ?
- Is the crashing random or is there a pattern ?
- Is it an occasional crash or constant ?

Also a word on Mod Detectors: They do NOT recognize outdated mods. They only find issues with conflicts between mods and if they are not for Sims 4 but for an earlier Sims version.

Okay... I think there was an issue with a very famous mod: their update did not work. They have a new version now. The personality types were causing the game to crush. That's why probably some people experienced the issue after the Get to know interaction. I made new folders for the Game, no issues with the update of the game on its own (no crushing for the 40 minutes I played) on new saves. No issues with the old saved files either. Downloaded the fixed mod no crushing for over an hour. I'll move back the others and see what happens.
