Sorry guys but it's almost impossible to help you all with crashing if you all post in the same thread and don't give us helpers any information to go on. Really would love to get you all back into your games :D
My suggestions for the moment (as there's lots of crashing threads)
Try the following troubleshooting steps and make sure TO TEST WITHOUT MODS and don't forget to delete your localthumbcache file: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/FAQ-Sims-4-Crashes/m-p/3586547
If none of these help you, please create your own thread, providing the following information
- Your Computer's DxDiag. You can attach the file directly to your post.
- Any critical events you find.
- Attach the content of this file documents\electronicarts\thesims4\lastcrash.txt(or variations of it). You need to create a rar file or c/p the content to your post. You can't upload it directly.
- Attach the following file: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\Config.log (you can upload directly)
- Are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
- At what point does your game crash ?
- Is the crashing random or is there a pattern ?
- Is it an occasional crash or constant ?

Also a word on Mod Detectors: They do NOT recognize outdated mods. They only find issues with conflicts between mods and if they are not for Sims 4 but for an earlier Sims version.

Okay... I think there was an issue with a very famous mod: their update did not work. They have a new version now. The personality types were causing the game to crush. That's why probably some people experienced the issue after the Get to know interaction. I made new folders for the Game, no issues with the update of the game on its own (no crushing for the 40 minutes I played) on new saves. No issues with the old saved files either. Downloaded the fixed mod no crushing for over an hour. I'll move back the others and see what happens.

Spot on! I downloaded the newer version that mod, and now it works like charm! Even tested the Get to Know interaction and still didn't crash, putting all the mods back in now and its still fine~
are you going to tell us the name of the mod or...
- @Summerxena As it's an adult mod, no that's not allowed here. But you might be able to figure it out 😉
