Sims 4 crashing in build mode.

@Siarahc07 The dxdiag lists generic Sims 4 crashes that could have a number of different causes, unfortunately. One of those is broken or outdated mods or custom content, so that's the place to start. I understand it's a pain to test such a large collection when the crashes are so unpredictable, but at the very least, you could test with no mods or cc at all—another crash means you can probably rule out mods and cc (aside from the possibility that you're seeing multiple issues).
You don't need to save your in-game progress if you don't want your mods and cc removed from your existing saves. Just save the build you're working on to the library every so often, and you'll be able to place it again when you reload.
