Sims 4 creates 'Electronic Arts' folder in wrong path

Once I launch the sims 4 from Origin, it creates a new folder called 'Electronic Arts' in C:/.../users/public/public desktop but I want it to create this folder somewhere else, at least not in a publ...

I accidentally opened The Sims 4 when my One Drive was on and it immediately wrote a new folder 'Electronic Arts' there. I tried moving that folder to the documents folder on C:/users/.../documents. I then unlinked and uninstalled One Drive but it still takes that folder. Then I tried copying the 'Electronic Arts' folder from One Drive > To C:/users/.../documents. Still writes a new folder on the One Drive. This stubborn damn pc, what am I doing wrong?

@Rapscallionn  Is your user account's Documents directory still pointing to OneDrive?  Please double-check.

And is OneDrive currently uninstalled?  If so, the game shouldn't be writing to a folder there.
