SIMS 4 CUSTOM CONTENT ISSUE

Hiya, 

I seem to be having an issue with some custom content on the sims 4, I have gone through the standard procedure of having the custom content PACKAGE files in the Mods folder with custom content turned on, the content I have downloaded DOES show up at the start of the game when it tells you what mods are installed and are recognised. 

However one particular piece of content doesn't show up where it should, I have been in touch with the content creator and they have informed me of where said mod should show up but it does not appear in game? 

My mod should appear in the makeup section, I have checked in both masculine and feminine looks and it still won't appear? 

I'm just awfully confused ☹️( especially since that mod shows up as working in the custom content and mods page.

    @ljw321 Did you check all ages? Mods can be teen only, or Young Adult/Adult only.

    Is the mod a recolor of another mod? You'd need the original mod then.

    I haven't actually thought about that, I will try it out and see if it makes any sort of difference! 

    To be quite honest I wouldn't be sure of whether it's a recolor or an original mod, though it might make sense, thank you very much for your response!

    @ljw321 Is it possible that the CC is outdated? Has the CC creator verified that it is compatible with the current game patch? If this CC is a re-color that requires a specific game pack or another CC file, i.e. a "mesh", then the CC creator should have included those details somewhere in their item description or installation notes.

    One other thing you can try, if you haven't already, is go back to where you found this CC item and try downloading it again. Maybe it did not download properly the first time.
