Sims 4 DLC key not working

I recently purchased a key code from CD Keys for the Sims 4 Horse Ranch, I always buy from them and have never had an issue in the past. However, I entered the code into EA app and it redeemed it correctly, but never downloaded.  It does not appear in my downloads and it says the game is still able to be purchased, rather than owned. When I look under my games in the actual Sims game, it says 'download to use'.

I have tried everything suggested, restarting the app, clearing cache, deleting and installing again, waited a few days but nothing has helped. please help!

I ordered the Sims 4 Snowy Escape on Sunday via CDKeys, and got a code. I took the code to the EA App and put it in and it registered as Snowy Escape. I continued and went to download it, but the download option was not there. Then I went to check the packs page, and it wasn't in my library. I truly don't know what's happened, as I went to my order history and it's there, but it doesn't have Snowy Escape in the title, just The Sims 4. What's even weirder is that in my Sims 4 game, Snowy Escape is showing that it's owned, just not downloaded. I genuinely need help, I've talked to EA via live chat and was simply told to go to CDKeys, so I did that and was told it was on EA's end because the code was new. Can anybody help? I don't want to simply get scammed out of my money.

If you're running into any issues with a code purchased through a 3rd party retailer, you'll need to reach back out to that retailer to look into a refund or replacement for this purchase.

it doesn’t even matter now i managed to get it downloaded 😭😭 i don’t even understand why you’d suggest that though when i mentioned in the post that i talked to them and they said it wasn’t wrong on their end

I purchased Growing Together on the CD keys. Redeemed it and pressed on the download button. When I loaded my game, it states that I own the game but have not downloaded it (even though I already downloaded it) so I exited the game to download it, and to my surprise it states that I do not own the game.

I repaired the game, restarted my laptop and the EA app. Contacted both CD keys and EA support but both are not helping. With CD keys telling me to contact Ea and EA telling me to contact CD keys and that it’s not an authorised retailer.

Have anyone experienced this before, and what should I do?

Hello, I redeemed a code for sims 4 horse ranch from CDKEYS. Ive ordered from them many times and had no issues. 

however, I redeemed my code on E A  account for this expansion and there is no download whatsoever. I've rebooted my PC, I've deleted and re installed sims base game plus the E A  app, ive clicked on manage add on and its not there, looked all-over my E A  account and even went on to steam to see if its on there and its not. BUT when i go on to my sims base game it says 'packs' and says I own 'The horse ranch  expansion' Also its showing on the 'worlds' part but says needs to be installed. I've looked all through different files and tried everything i could find online but still no sign of it. I've tried to redeem the code again but it says its been used.  ANYbody else experience this and how did you solve it. ive tried contacting CDKEYS  and E A  but still waiting for a reply 2 days later.

Just tried it, did not work as well.

having the exact same problem as well, EA is not being helpful at all, told me to email them my proof of purchase and did not get back to me. Do let me know if you manage to solve the problem.
