A week ago, I bought and successfully downloaded the Sims 4 "Cottage Living" expansion pack. It downloaded immediately and I had no issues with it. Yesterday I bought the Sims 4 "Horse Ranch" expansion pack and bought it, it was successfully purchased. I restarted my P.C, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I checked both Steam and Ea for updates. It's still not working and its really frustrating. I just need help and I like playing this game.I looked for help on different websites and couldn't find any. Both Steam and EA shows that I purchased the content for both, but when I start the game and play, they are both nonexistent. Thank you for your help!

@blue_lily_208_27 Then I'd suggest doing a clean uninstall and reinstall of Sims 4, and the EA App as well, as described here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/CURRENT-ISSUE-Sims-4-DLC-shows-as-installed-won-t-load-in-game/m-p/12942151#uninstall The one difference is that since you're playing through Steam, you'll use Steam to reinstall, not the EA App, and you don't need to create a new folder into which you'll install the game. Just make sure the EA App doesn't try to download a second copy of the base game.

@blue_lily_208_27 Where did you buy these packs? Have you installed Sims 4 through Steam or the EA App, and do the packs show as installed within that launcher's game library?

I installed it with the Steam App. They do show that they're installed.

@blue_lily_208_27 Please clear the EA App's cache:

Then repair the game through Steam: open your game library, right-click the Sims 4 tile, and select Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of the game files.

Within Steam, find your new DLC and see whether it shows as installed there. If not, can you download it?

If the packs are installed, please run a search for EP14 , which is the folder for Horse Ranch. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter EP14 in the search field in the upper-right corner. Wait for the search to finish, then make sure the full file path is showing under each result. If it's not, expand the window sideways as necessary. Take a screenshot using Windows key-shift-S and attach it to a reply here.

Repeat the process for EP11 , which is Cottage Living.

@blue_lily_208_27 I wasn't asking you to open the EP11 and EP14 folders; I was asking you to show me the results of the searches. This is entirely different information.

Having said that, the EP11 folder is missing all the usual data, so please delete it and download Cottage Living again. If this doesn't help, please post the results of the searches, as described.

Ok, I fixed it. Sorry about that. I tried to look it up and nothing came up on the search.

@blue_lily_208_27 You put spaces in the searches: EP 14 and EP 11. Please search for EP14 and EP11 , no spaces.

@blue_lily_208_27 I'm sorry, but this is still not what I need. You've run the search correctly, but you didn't expand the window to show the full location for each entry. This is what I need:

You might need to expand the Folder category, perhaps by dragging the | to its right. The reason this is important is because I can see that at least one copy of EP11 is in the wrong location, but I can't be sure the others are in the right place.
