Sims 4 doesnt launch, does appear in taskmanager.

Hey, so about a week ago I wanted to play ts4, so i installed the game to my external harddrive due to space issues with my ssd. So i installed the game but it didnt open, but it did appear in taskmanager with 0% cpu usage. So i try different stuff like repairing, reinstalling, reinstalling runtimes, disabling antivirus, Nothing seems to be working and idk what to do. I dont think its a harddrive issue as other games including the sims 3 run perfectly run fine off of it. During the process i even managed to corrupt my computer (dont worry its all fixed). I dont have any mods and no packs except for the free holiday one if that helps.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Tim

@JustTim51955  Please create a different folder.  One of the less-common triggers for this kind of issue is a problem with the permissions on the folder for the game's program files, so it's best to start with a newly-created folder which should have default permissions.
