Sims 4 DVD download
I picked up a copy of Sims 4: get to work at my local thrift since it was a sale day. The digital code had already been redeemed by the previous owner.
I have windows 10 so when I try to run the dvd for the expansion pack it leads me to download Origin, once I go through some set up, it restricts me from logging/updating the launcher due to it not being in online mode.
Is there anything I can do? Or somehow download it through the ea app? Or is this dvd useless?
@snappedmarker124 The disc is useless, unfortunately. Even in the Origin days, you'd have needed to register the code in order to use the content. And even if you somehow managed to install the pack from this disc, the EA App wouldn't allow the game to load its content because it would think you don't own it.
Not that it's what you want to hear, but Get to Work and most other expansions are typically 50-60% off during Sims 4 sales, for example $16 U.S. rather than $40. I have no idea when the next sale will be, but there's always a Black Friday sale, and there might be another one before that.
