Sims 4: Error 801

I keep getting the error code 801 when trying to go to build mode. I tried to build on the same lot but in a new save and it worked there, so I think it's just the one save that doesn't work.

Edit: I also can't access the gallery. When I open the game and click the gallery icon, it's just blank with a bunch of W-letters on the top.

I have tried getting my CC and mods out, but it didn't help.

    @ainokallio--try deleting localthumbcache.package from documents / electronic arts / the sims 4, and repairing your game through Origin. then test again without mods/cc.

    it could be some outdated mods that might have messed with the save. you could also try a backup/earlier version of the save, if you have any from before the error.
