I had the same error and had to move a bunch of my cc out of my mods folder to find out what's causing this. Turns out it was the MC Command and Wicked Woohoo, Idk if you have it or not but when I moved this out of my Mods folder, everything saved just fine. The error is gone. Hope it'll work for you.
I'm experiencing the same error message as displayed above, no custom content and no mods. Lost over 4 hours worth of progress due to not being able to save my file. I am also no longer able to have the two sims get married, I created both together in the CAS and now one of them is showing as an employee of the other. Please fix!
