Sims 4 forums: why am I a new member again?

Question

I have 35 posts and 71 points on my profile and yet it says I'm a new member and I cannot create new threads? http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/profile/Oh_Mere

You can even see on my profile that I have created my own threads in the past. It makes no sense to me that I can't create new threads now. Nor can I change my profile pic or edit my signature.

It had been a while since I had logged into the forums, so does being inactive for a long time remove your member rank? Or is this a bug? I hope I don't sound rude I'm just genuinely confused.

Were you a full member before (cause the threads you started are older, probably from before they changed the rules) ?

I do believe I was a full member! However it has been a long time so my memory could be failing me. I have commented on the thread you linked as well! The new rules say to be a member you need 30 posts and 50 points, I have exceeded those requirements but I'm stuck as a new member.&nbsp;
