@raine137 I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.
Please update your graphics card driver; it's four years old. You can download a new one here:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/153942/en-us
If that doesn't help, please list out all the recent Reliability Monitor entries for Sims 4 or Origin. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes. Each day will have a list of entries associated with it. For any that mention the game or Origin, click "view technical details," copy the information into a text document (Notepad is fine), and attach the file to a post here.
My apologies, I think I attached an older DxDiag.txt -- the graphics driver is up to date. New dxdiag.txt attached.
I have run perfmon /rel and while it lists all the stalling/freezing, it never mentions Sims or Origin. They all say
"Windows was not properly shut down"
"Description
The previous system shutdown at 11:05:49 AM on 11/24/2019 was unexpected."
Perhaps because the computer completely freezes and goes to a black screen, and I have to do a hard shut down by holding the power button down.
That's all I got.
I appreciate your help very much, thank you.

Here's one instance where it had something different:
"Windows has stopped working
Description
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff8800f336b6e). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 112419-19796-01."- puzzlezaddict6 years agoHero+
@raine137 You're probably right that the "Windows was not shut down properly" errors are due to your having to hold down the power button, and not anything else, although they could indicate a separate issue. Still, if there aren't any errors that list Sims 4 or Origin, there's not a lot to be done with that information.
One the different bugcheck, it's in a category that's a bit above my level. I can ask for help with that, but it may take a day or two. Please upload the memory.dmp file somewhere and link it here. (Be sure to copy it and paste it on the desktop before trying to zip it up.)
In the meantime, try a minimalist approach and see whether you still get crashes. First, rename your user game folder again (or move it elsewhere), sign into Origin, put it in offline mode, disconnect from the internet, and only then launch your game. If it crashes again, do the same, but start with a clean boot.

And please keep checking the Reliability Monitor for any interesting errors. If you want to double-check the shutdown errors, you can compare their timestamps to when you know you had to manually turn off your computer—those errors can have other causes as well.
