@codyhunt360 Thanks for the dxdiag and error report, which (as you've found) most often point to an issue with ReShade or GShade. Did you repair Sims 4 after removing ReShade? If not, please do so. If you did, I would suggest deleting the entire Bin folder and repairing again, just to be thorough.
Another common cause of this type of error is various Razer apps, so please uninstall any you're using. It may be sufficient to reinstall them, but please do test without them present.
If that doesn't help either, please try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.

thanks for your help!
I have removed my razer apps and deleted the bin file, as well as repairing the game again.
I will playtest this later today and let you know if it has been successful!
initially the game is running ok so far; It is still crashing when I randomise preferences but other than that no other crashes in 5 minutes of gameplay.
I will keep you updated! 🙂
