This has also been happening to me lately. Does anyone know what is causing it. The only way I can close Sims 4 is to sign out of my laptop and force close Origin, as the Task Manager will not show up on top of the open Sims game and the game will not minimise
I've had this problem too, and what seems to cause it is if something else in the game has not loaded in, and you go to save. Example, if your sims avatar picture in the bottom left corner is blank, and you go to save, it will get stuck, because the game is trying to save something that isn't 100% loaded. The biggest cause for this is Custom Content hair, which often doesn't load properly in your Sims avatars, especially on Children and Toddlers. There is a similar glitch in CAS, where if you try to upload a household to the gallery while preview pictures on the right haven't loaded in, you will encounter the same problem. Hope this helped. 😉

My problem is that today i was playing my game and when i wanted to save (not quit just save) it just loaded the saving screan for ages and ages and i had to restrast my computer but i lost everything and it kept happening over and over again! Even when i aged up a baby and i used cas.fulleditmode to go in cas to edit my sim and when i was finished and clicked on the check button it just got stuck on the loading screen for ever! Please help me!
