Sims 4 Get To Work - Won't Install.

Hi, I purchased the Sims 4 'Get To Work' expansion pack, but when I try to install it, it won't. 

Autorun comes up with the same message (click here to view) saying that I need to Update the Sims 4 base game before it will let me install the expansion pack. However, the base game is fully up to date every time I check and doesn't need any updates nor gives the option to do so when logged into Origin. I only updated the base game a couple of days back. How do I solve this problem and successfully install the 'Get to Work' expansion pack? Is there a way around this?

    I actually had to just go into Origin, click on the Origin tab, click on Redeem Product Code, type in the code that came in my disc box and then it started downloading.

    My game won't install either, it keeps saying "Origin needs to download files and is waiting for your permission. Please choose "Yes" when Windows prompts you for permission." The only problem is that nothing is popping up. I've tried turning Origin on safe mode and re-installing Origin but it didn't work. Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Can you close origin completely, then start as administrator and try again.

    I assume you have basements and all ?

    I managed to get it to work. I right clicked on my base game in origin and clicked repair. Then I inserted the disc again and got an error message. I closed it and reopened and it installed! Hope that helps

     I had the same problem, Redeeming the product code worked for me too. Thanks for posting.

    It does the same with me but it dosen't come up on how to install it and putting in your code!
