Sims 4 Get to Work glitch

I am at level 8 of the doctor career and I can not advance because every time a sim comes to the hospital for me to deliver their baby they just stand by the road and I am unable to click on them. If I don't deliver the baby I can not advance. I have had this problem for the last three pregnant people to show up at the hospital. This is quite annoying.

Are you using any mods in your game ? Have you tried repairing the game through Origin ?

I do not run any mods, and I will try to repair the game today and see if it helps.
