Hi, I cant travel in sims 4, whenever i choose to travel or travel with or go ona a date in sims 4, i go on the map, choose my destination but then it just loads and loads and i cant go to the chosen destination, PLEASE HELP!! i dont want to start a new game!!
Did you try a new save game to see if it's just related to that one save game ?
Do close down your game completely before trying a new game.
Dear Sims 4 patchers, please figure out a way to fix this problem for people. It's prolific among Sims 4 players. It's so frustrating it makes the game unplayable/ un-fun. My Sim family can only just stay around the house. They cannot travel or go on dates, and this is so frustrating for players of the game we cannot tell you.
Everything was working just fine. THen I made a new family, moved them in to a new house, started playing them, and blam, cannot travel all of a sudden. I did the whole remove the Sims folder and restart game, etc, and this has not solved the problem. I've spent over an hour on that. THat is not how I wanted to spend my evening, I could be playing a different game.
Please Sims 4 makers. Other games don't have these issues like Sims game do. No, I don't have any mods, etc. I just play the game like a normal player would be meant to. Yes, I have a gaming computer so this cannot be the issue. THere is obvious something that causes the game files to corrupt. It's not just me, just read your forums people.
I'm at my wits end. I don't know what do I do now to fix this I would really like to take my Sim family out of the house?
ANy suggestions? *(do nto answer this question with a question like what are my specs or do I have lots of items in my inventiory? I've a few items, but not like a crazy amount (maybe 10 things)
I WAS able to go on vacation and rent a house ion Granite Falls. But when I went to "Explore the woods" aka travel to the park area, that when it crashed. Also won't load lots when traveling for "go on date" etc.
So wierd. I don't know what to do. I just want to play the game. I'm not a techy person and don't want to have to go into game files and remove and make back ups and move things back... that's not what I've spent over 200 on this game for. People.
Once the travel goes into infinte mode on the loading screen, is there any way to "undo" the action, exit out of "traveling", and go back to your lot where the game play left off?
Or am I stuck going into Ctrl +Alot+Del and quitting Sims 4?
I tried a new save game. Travel worked twice, then now here goes again same problem.

Was working before,
only change is i made a new family and moved them in. New family cannot travel.
I tried a total reboot (I removed the Sim olfder in my documents/Sims4 and added a new Sim (like from scratch), and tried to travel. THAT Sims traveled just fine, very fast loading. So then I moved in my save game files into the new Sims 4 folder (if that makes sense) as per instructions from antoher poster on the forum here. No fix.
So I did the save as new game, and then that's when it worked. twice. then n9ow it's frozen again. I'm stuck in Granite fall with no way home.
Willing to share your broken save game (and yes, sorry, I know that's a question)
