Sims 4 IS BRIGHT

My sims 4 is super bright?? I thought it was my gshade however I turned it off and it's still not working.

@1E3W1 Sorry, I didn't check your original post, only your reply. Your dxdiag lists a couple of crashes of the graphics driver and a few Sims 4 errors that may be related to the driver as well. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

You can get a fresh copy of the newest AMD driver here:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/graphics/radeon-rx/radeon-rx-6000-series/amd-radeon-rx-6600-xt.html

If that doesn't help, please test Sims 4 with only one monitor plugged in, then only the other. The computer should be shut down when you disconnect and reconnect the monitors. Let me know whether the game looks better on either screen, and if so, which one.

@1E3W1 I take it your computer screen isn't excessively bright or washed out in other contexts? Does this happen in both fullscreen and windowed modes? Please switch back and forth, restarting each time, to find out.

Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

And let me know if you use any other tools that change how the game looks.

I'm unable to even open sims 4 now! I am able to open it and pass the opening screen, however it gets stuck when loading. I'm not even able to get to the home screen now?
