Sims 4 is taking forever to download and is now going in reverse

I pre-ordered the Sims 4 so when it came out on September 2nd I started to download it. It is now September 8th and the game has not fully downloaded and now instead of taking forever to download mor...

I'm having the same issue nothing else is using the internet and I did the speed test and it all is exactly the way it should be, what else can I do?
