I use Windows on PC, and I only have one mod (the resource one), so I’m not sure what to do if it’s corrupted? I’ve put it back in the original folder but it doesn’t help.
@KatieCaatt I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section.
Please move the entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. Then launch the game, which will create a clean folder with no content. Don't add anything to this folder yet; just start a new save and play for a bit, to test. Save, quit, restart your computer, launch the game again, and see whether it crashes. Let me know either way.
Your existing saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but will temporarily not be read by the game. It's easier to test with a clean folder, then put your old files back later when you know the game is working normally.
