Sims 4 Keeps Crashing (Windows 11)
I wondered if anyone has any advice please - my game has randomly crashed/shut down three times over the past two hours whenever I've tried going on it, at different points (once when loading a game, once when loading a household, and another time when I've been in CAS).
I repaired my game via the EA app after the second crash, but then it still happened when I went into CAS. There doesn't seem to be a pattern and it was running absolutely fine earlier today. My graphics card is up to date, I haven't uploaded any new cc/mods for a while (since the last update) and nothing's changed since the game was working fine earlier today so I don't see how any files can have become corrupted.
Any ideas what the problem could be or how I can identify/resolve the issue so it doesn't keep happening please?
I wondered if it might be something to do with storage space (I only have 12.6 GB free) or if my laptop is overclocking (though I'm not sure how to tell if it is overclocking - the fan is always quite loud/warm whenever I play Sims but it's been like that ever since I got my laptop two years ago)?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks for your help!
@AnElBo The driver for your Nvidia graphics card is somewhat old, so start by updating it. You can get the newest driver directly from Nvidia:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/199655/en-us/
Run the installer as an admin: right-click on the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing the driver and before trying to play.
By the way, the lastcrash didn't attach. If you want to include it, you can paste its text directly into a reply (please use a spoiler tag), or create a .rar file and attach it, or delete the first line and attach it as a .txt file.
