sims 4 keeps crashing
for the last week, every day, I try to play the sims 4 and about 10mins in it crashes. I have tried taking out cc and mods, still crashes; tried making a new folder for the game, still crashes; tried...
so my sims 4 game keeps crashing, i got a new pc and its pretty powerful so there shouldnt be any issues but just in case i did update the drivers then ended up uninstalling them and reinstalling them, i tried makeing a new sims 4 folder, i tried removing all mods and cc before making a fully new folder for the sims 4. i tried un installing the game and reinstalling the game, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the ea app, tired everything i can think off, does anyone else have any ideas?
I repaired, moved mod folder out and repaired again, no luck yet. I play on a 4 yr old desktop and have never had issues until today.
@CieloSims As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also let me know when the game crashes: during the initial loading process, when you try to load a save, in the run of play, etc.
