Hi, graceking2323. Here is a simple solution that took me less than 10 minutes and works.
(Take caution that I did this without saving my households because starting over isn't a biggie to me. These steps are very simple, but include 0 instructions on how to keep your saved households!)
The screen taking you back to the World Interface is a fault caused by the recent patch in March 2015 (and possibly previous dates, yet I did not experience those.)
The solution to this is easy: be sure to save any Mods / Households if you want to.
1. Make sure your Sims 4 game is closed, yet you have Origin > My Games open.
2. Locate your Electronic Arts folder within your Documents section.
3. Delete your EA folder.
4. Back to Origin, re-launch your Sims 4 game. Create a random Sim, move them into a household, travel with them ( m ), an even re-load your game if you would like. Refreshing your Sims 4 files should resolve the issue (this is what we just did.)
5. Add back in any salvaged CC or households.
Hopefully this helped.
I tried that myself and it didn't work. This has never happened before and now it's been happening since the new March 2015 Patch. I play the Sims 4 on 3 different computers and it's doing the exact same thing on all of them - with different saves/custom content on all computers. Any other ideas?
