sims 4 keeps making a new game folder. Please Help me!
I was playing the sims 4 and closed it with no issues until I ended up falling asleep watching youtube and left my pc running for hours. In the morning I tried to start my game and the whole game restarted from scratch , I looked in my library and the game made a new electronic arts folder. But my old folder with my mods and all my saves are still there, I'm trying to redirect it to my old folder but it keeps making a new one. Can someone please help me? Also i have no storage problems i have my sims folders on a USB drive if that is something.
UPDATE: the reason why the sims 4 kept creating a new folder was because my computer updated and changed the folder name like for ex: electronic arts - nameofcomputer. I changed the name of my old folder to just (electronic arts) and it worked! all my mods are good but I lost all my saves files.
