Sims 4 keeps minimizing?!

My Sims 4 keeps minimizing into the task bar and won't let me open it. It will load up just fine, but as soon as i start it, it minimizes it, and whenever i click it it opens, but then immediately minimizes again! i've tried to repair the game, I have all expansion packs but no mods or anything running besides those. Anyone have a solution for this?! I'm running on a Windows 10 Lenova Yoga 720 which should have more than enough memory and everything to run the game considering its the only thing on here. Help please!

    Is there any windows update or virus scan running in the background ? That sometimes causes this issue

    In all honesty im new to windows- i used mac before this computer so how would I check about that?

    Usually in the task bar in the lower right corner. There should be an icon for both, telling you what it does.
