8 years agoSims 4 Lag?
So i've posted about sims 4 lag in the past but the issue has still not been resolved. To cut a long story short, all of my windows files and games (including sims) are on my C drive which is current...
I am also having a hard time with lag. I see a lot of people talking about wallpapers but i'v tried everything now. I haven't even TOUCHED wallpapers for the game.
What i'v done:
deleted my cache & updated and repaired game,
deleted my mods,
Clear out entire lot: by doing this, i can easily click on the ground and get a fast response but when it comes to appliances and actually clicking on sims, the delay resumes.
I'm having a hard time believing that it would be my computer considering i'v played the sims 4 since launch on the same computer with no problem -- I actually cleared out and wiped my computer for more space and when i downloaded the vanilla game again a few days ago it was fine. Then i updated the game -- i'm assuming that was the June update. I also bought 2 new maxis dlc for it but again, i don;t think this would break the game since they're maxis made.. right (i got get together and backyard stuff).
here's my specs:
OS: Win 10 Home 64-bit
SM: Lenovo
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1800 @ 2.41GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory:4096MB Ram
DirectX12
HI @ReiyneBow
your computer is overall a bit low for the game. Celeron CPUs aren't really that fast.
What's your graphics card ?
Would be good if you could post your complete specs.
