Sims 4 "launches" but wont load

hi all I've been looking through all the forums posts and doing what others have suggested, but i cant for the life of me get sims 4 to load task manager says its launched, but the game wont pop I...

    @xDankman  If you haven't already, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

    If that doesn't or didn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I was able to get my game to load by removing the sims 4 file from Documents>Electronic Arts. Now what?

@jillybug123  Now you figure out what in the old folder is the problem.  The most common issue is outdated mods or custom content.  Start here:

Anything not on that list, you'll need to test yourself.  Use the 50/50 method if you have an especially large set of files to sort through.

Once you've done that, you can copy over the contents of the saves and Tray (saved households and builds) folders, plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, plus the UserSetting.ini file for the login rewards.  The rest can be discarded.
