Sims 4 Load Saved Game, Says Running Old Vers. I was a Pre- order Played 14 Hours!

Hey, please try restarting Origin in administrator mode, and see if it has any effect.

I have the same problem. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Sims 4, Uninstalling and reinstalling Origin, running both in Admin mode, nothing. This is really frustrating, it won't even let me make a new game!

Soooo sooo frustrating !

I contacted EA chat and this was their response

"IqbalIt: seems to be an issue from our end, i am going to report it to the Supervisor so they could take appropriate action regarding this issue, I would request you to give us a few days and keep checking these forums, It won't take much time from now."

Hopefully it gets sorted soon or ill be pushing for a refund

Good I'm not the only one with this problem. There's a button on origin that you click when hovering over the game that says check for update and it tells me that it's been updated. But, it hasn't.

I am getting this same error so frustrating... If i lost my 45 hours of play i will not be happy.

Tried Runnin in administer, tried reinstalling, tried manual update, tried verifying files... nothing works..

"The save game you are trying to load is with a newer version of the game, try updating the game to run the save properly"

I'm having this problem too since yesterday...it's weird, is there a fix yet or it is random? (server side?)

ya it worked fine up untill the 7th...

Played till 3AM then woke up the next day around 12 to play and this error appeared, Still no word from them yet and i would really love to play the game i payed $70 on.

Is there still no fix available or did i miss something?

if i start a new Sim....Do you think i will be able to have both the "lost" and new Sim recovered after a possible fix?
