Sims 4 money cheat not working

Okay Hi,

I am seriously confused. So I was making a new family on Sims 4 and once I made it I typed control shift c and it came up with cheats thing (note: I was on the map trying to buy a house but I have insufficient funds thats why I was trying to get money!) So I type in "motherlode" and it says "Unable to execute command" and then i tried several times with other things and it kept saying "Unable to execute command" please help I can't play sims 4 with this family until i fix this PLEASE REPLY ASAP!!

    Try the cheat freerealestate on instead. This will give them the house for free.

    I'm not sure if you can use motherlode from the map.
