Sims 4 on Origin stuck 'resuming download'
My Sims 4 Digital Deluxe is stuck on resuming download. It was purchased through Origin so I do not have a physical copy of the discs. I've tried reinstalling Origin with no change. Help!

@wildturkeychase Please try the steps in the order below:
- Restart your router/modem and do a Clean Boot
- Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify
- Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports
- When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Administrator
After this try the download again.

I went through the process. Upon starting it had a "paused download" for a second, but as soon as I went to the game details page it's right back to "resuming download". The pause and cancel download options are still grayed out. ☹️
@wildturkeychase In that case, could you please try manually uninstalling Origin? After reinstalling the client check if you can download the game.
