As @mesnyder93 has mentioned, make sure your Mac meets the minimum system requirements at least. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and not just Origin?
- ApprovedAnonymous10 years agoThe game wouldn't actually install, so I couldn't "uninstall" the game. The download is there in my Origin game folder and then clicking install it would say 100% after 1 second and then from there nothing else would happen.
My Mac software is new and I have plenty of room on my harddrive. I tried downloading this last December and had the same issues.
Ended up requesting a refund. Guess until I have a PC no Sims4 for me ☹️

The Mac version wasn't out last December, did you have this problem on a PC or on a Boot Camp partition on your Mac/VM?
Please can you be more specific about your Mac? Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop and select About This Mac. Please provide the following information (you may need to click on More Info depending on what operating system you're running:
- Operating System (Version)
- Mac model
- Processor
- Memory (RAM)
- Graphics
- Are you running any antivirus?
- Do you have Time Machine/Spotify/Dropbox or similar running?
