Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat purchased but not appearing to download

i have not played sims since middle of last year ever since then iv been trying to work out what is wrong. i now know its the update for outdoor retreat game, my dad wont let me pay for the added game please. it cant save my game if i want to save my game an error comes up  and im getting T off when i have to make a new family everytime i play. give a download please
