@loubylou1983 It could definitely be overheating, which is why I said hardware monitoring was the next step after a clean boot. Overheating wouldn't usually cause the errors in your dxdiag though; that's why it's worth disabling the MSI software and then trying a clean boot if it doesn't help.
For the hardware monitoring, download hwinfo from here:

You don't have to install anything if you don't want to—download the portable version, unzip it, and launch it directly from Downloads or wherever you want. (If you would like to install, be sure to click the green button, not the orange one.) Restart your computer, open hwinfo, choose "sensors only," and click the icon that's a sheet of paper with a + sign to start logging. You can save the log to your desktop so it's easy to find later.
Wait five minutes, then open Origin and Sims 4, and play for at least 20 minutes, or until you get a crash. (You can stop the logging by clicking on the same icon.) Then upload the log to a third-party filehosting site and link it here. Please leave it in .csv format, or if you're using OneDrive, zip it before uploading.
