sims 4 "restart"

im in the process of installing an update but its telling me to restart the game, how do i do that?

    Restarting the game means basically by completely exiting/quitting the game and starting it again. Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

Thank you so much! I just shut down my computer and it worked! I probs. should of tried that first but oh well. Thank you again!!!
