Sims 4 Save Disappeared From Files?

I had a sims world that I played in a lot. I'm assuming the last time I played was in July of this year, but I decided to start a new world. I've been playing on the new world for close to three months but recently I decided that I wanted to load up the other world to play it again. I went into my saved games on the main screen and I could not find the save. I went to my sims 4 save files to see if it is there but the save files are not there, only some other files from what I assume is the last day I played the world, July 12. I'm not sure if it is my CC and mods causing the problem and I'm not sure how or if I can fix it. It is my favorite sims world so I desperately want it back. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to get it back? Any help is appreciated. 🙂

    So you have a save file, and an older save file. You can find the files for the older save file but not the recent save files?

    Do you have something like OneDrive running that might be copying away newer files?
