@JYTANTUAN Are you trying to install the game via disc? If so, that's the problem: the discs are so old that they still try to use Origin. Instead of using a disc, just login to the EA App and download the game from there.
If that's not what's happening, please let me know where in the process of installing or launching Sims 4 you get the error.
@puzzlezaddict I am downloading it through Steam, and I don't know if it installs through disc. I will try installing it through EA though.

@puzzlezaddict It seems I cannot download The Sims 4 through EA, due to the game being accessed through Steam. When I open The Sims 4 on EA, trying to download it, it only shows the Manage Button.
@JYTANTUAN It's fine to install through Steam, and you shouldn't be asked to install Origin. So please clean-uninstall the EA App with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and download a fresh copy of the installer. When Sims 4 is installed but before you try to play it, open both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each one's desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."
