Sims 4 Sims Can't cook
When clicking the fridge, microwave or oven then a cooking option the money is taken away but the sim doesn't cook it. Any ideas?

exit the game if your playing then if you have mods move the mods folder to the desktop for now then launch origin log in repair the game option then log out of origin log back in launch the game and see if all is well
I'm having a similar problem, the only difference is that I started getting this bug after the latest update (a week ago?).
The refrigerator interactions work, because my sims can get quick meals. However, whenever I try to cook, or use an interaction with a stove or microwave, the action shows up in the queue for a split second and then disappears. What are the suggestions for fixing this bug?
are you using any mods ? Is your game all updated ?
Hey, I'm having the same problem, I have mods in my game. So, I restarted my game with a fresh new folder earlier with no mods, and it seemed to fix the problem. So I decided to put the mods back into the fresh new folder, and the problem came up again. So does this mean I have to play without mods?
No, it just means you need to find the mod that's causing the issue and then either check if it was updated or get rid of it.
- Found the problem it a mod the mod was larger amount of food mod hope this works it did for me happy dimming 😂
