Sims 4 spa day messed up and now I can't play my game at all.....

I just bought and downloaded the Sims 4 spa day and now every time I go to play a household it sends me back to the screen where I have to select a city.  That is all it will do.  Please help, I am assuming that the game is either glitched and corrupted my game.  I need help.
