Sorry for the 2 month late reply, I've been really busy with work. To answer yes I did use DDU and reinstalled my Display Driver, I've stopped using the USB display adapter but the Sims 4 still triggers a BSoD during Shut Down even though it's not suppose to trigger it with my current hardware.

If you have any overlays installed, turn it off.
Use DISM. Open an elevated command prompt and run the following command and hit Enter:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

- Look under "C:Windows\Minidumps"
- There you should find "*.dmp" files with dates that match the BSOD crashes.
- Zip the last two of them together and load them up at a free file hosting site.
