Sims 4 update stuck on preparing

Hi. I'm on PC. and Ive tried SO many things now.  removed the cache on the app, restarted the computer, EA app online and offline, Ive tried to cansle the download of the update, and even trie...

@alannapaige nevermind, I went to the three bars on the ea app at the top left and restart app and now it work and has updated game!
