Sims 4 update stuck on preparing
Hi.
I'm on PC. and Ive tried SO many things now.
removed the cache on the app, restarted the computer, EA app online and offline,
Ive tried to cansle the download of the update, and even trie...

If anyone still encounters this problem, I went to settings, download and than scrolled down to updates, where I enabled background downloads, and it immediately started working.
I've had this same issue and just enabled the background downloads under settings and its immediately started downloading! Thank you for the tip! It works folks! 🙂
