Sims 4 will not launch

I NEED HELP DESPERATELY
SO IM USING SIMS 4 ON MY WINDOWS 10 PRO AND IM HAVING TROUBLES
WHENEVER IVE TRIED TO CLICK PLAY ON IT, IT CLICKS ME OUT THEN WAITS THEN GOES BACK TO THE PLAY BUTTON
IVE BEEN HAVING THIS PROBLEM SINCE SEPTEMBER AND I JUST NEED HELP PLEASEEEEE ILL DO ANYTHING JUST TO FIX IT
I just used sims 4 in 3 months and it had an update and when I did it without enabling special content it was perfect and had NO problems but once I enable it, it doesn't work.

elaboration : When I go to click play on the origin app, it makes me wait for about 2 seconds then pops up the screen again but with the play button unused (?) yk how when you click it, it goes a little grey and when you don't its orange? lol

anyways I found out the solution on my own ,, basically just add a new folder then put all your mods n cc's in that folder then you'll be able to play the sims 4

@Re_late_d__221 Do you hve any cc or mods? If you do did you try the game with out any cc and/or mods? Did you try to repair the game in Origin?

ahh sorry about the all caps thing but yes I do have cc's n mod's and I did try it without cc's n mod's
