Sims 4 will not let me use cheats.

no idea why but all cheats will not work o the cheat bar

    To enter Cheat Codes in The Sims 4:

    1. Open the Cheat Console by pressing “Ctrl + Shift + C” on your PC or Mac, while in game.
    2. This will bring up the Cheat Console box.
    3. Enter your cheat (don't forget to press “Enter” after typing in a cheat)!
