Sims 4 won't download in origin

I got sims 4 today and it wont download in origin, the 3 steps on how to download it comes up as soon as i put the disc into my windows 8 computer and then i hit continue but then it doesn't do anything. I tried downloading it in origin as well, i hit redeem code and then typed in my code, then went into my games and clicked on sims 4 and download but it says "an unexpected error has occurred. please try again in a few moments. error: 196632:0" i don't understand what is wrong, is it because my disc is faulty? or am i doing it wrong? Also, i saw some other questions similar to mine but i don't understand how to do any of the things they are told to do in the answer.
