Download error every time I try to download the Sims 4. I have reinstalled the EA app, cleared my cache, unlinked my other platforms and repaired and i still cannot download the sims 4.
I, after this happening to me after at least 3 times, have finally found a work around. If you are able, make a steam account or go to your steam account. COMPLETELY uninstall the Sims 4 from EA app if you haven't. Go to the steam store page and find the Sims 4, download it. It's free now! Then you need to click play and link your steam and EA accounts. Once this is done, close out of Sims 4, go to the EA app and download your DLC! The base game WILL NOT transfer over to steam but you can just rebuy it on steam (it's free). Make sure to check if you're downloading your DLC or it's trying to download the Sims 4 again. If it's downloading the Sims 4 game but click cancel download and then all your DLC should begin to download. Please let me know if it works I would love to hear that this is a true fix!
