I have plenty of storage on my PC, however when I try to download (update) the Sims 4 it just says 'download error' and keeps 'loading'.
After butting my head against a pack refusing to install, I took a quick look and saw that I still had the files from the old CAS demo on my computer, and that the launcher seemed to want to dump pack files into that folder (possibly because it began with "The Sims 4"} instead of my proper TS4 folder. I uninstalled the demo, and after that the packs installed without a hitch.
