Sims 4 won't finish update

Hello, I am having troubling updating my Sims 4 game on Orgin. Every time it reaches 100%, it pauses the downloaded update and every time I click 'resume' it just keeps pausing itself and I am unable to play the game unless I have it updated  :catsad:

    Have you restarted the device you are using? That worked for me before :catwink:

    Maybe you have sims 4 running at the background? (sometimes the sims 4 process don't finish correctly) .Hit Ctrl+shift+esc to open the task manager, and check the process tab to see if any sims 4 process is still running. finish it and try again to unpause the update.

    Under processes on the task manager. Not on applications. It is at the bottom listed as TS4 if the game is still running. I have to close it out manually like this a lot.
